Application of Medium Frequency Induction Furnace
The medium frequency induction furnace is a special smelting equipment suitable for smelting high-quality steel and alloys. It has the advantages of fast melting speed, high production efficiency, strong adaptability, flexible use, good electromagnetic stirring effect, convenient startup operation, and molten steel covered by slag (reducing atmospheric pollution to molten steel).
It uses the principle of electromagnetic induction, with fast and uniform heating speed.
Its widely used in metal smelting, heat treatment, forging heating and other fields. It is suitable for a variety of metals, including carbon steel, alloy steel, copper and aluminum.
It has a wide range of applications, including heat treatment (such as quenching, annealing, tempering) and hot forming (such as forging, hot upsetting).
Due to its energy saving, environmental protection and easy operation, the medium frequency induction furnaces has an important position in industrial production.
Composition of Medium Frequency Furnace
The complete set of induction furnaces equipment includes:
Power supply and electrical control part, furnace body part, transmission device and water cooling system.
Application of Medium Frequency Induction Furnace
1. Metal smelting
IF is suitable for the smelting of metals such as iron, steel, copper, aluminum and their alloys, with the characteristics of high melting efficiency, uniform metal composition and less burning loss.
It supports intermittent or continuous operation, and can flexibly adjust the smelting volume, which is suitable for mass production in foundries.
For example: aluminum alloy ingot smelting, steel liquid refining, copper tube forming, etc.
2. Heat treatment
Medium frequency furnaces are used for metal quenching, tempering, annealing, and tempering processes. Through rapid and uniform heating, the temperature difference between the core and the surface is small and the oxidation and decarburization is less.
Application cases: pre-forging heating of gears, quenching of bearings, online tempering of steel pipes, etc.
3. Forging heating
Induction furnaces provide pre-forging heating for metal materials such as round steel and bars, support continuous heating and precise temperature control, replace traditional coal-fired furnaces, reduce pollution and improve efficiency.
Features: fast heating speed (such as room temperature to 1100℃ in a short time), high degree of automation, and unattended operation.
4. Nonferrous metal processing
Medium frequency induction furnace are used for hot bending and annealing of nonferrous metals such as copper and aluminum, as well as special processes such as metal implantation in plastics.
Advantages: Avoid the pollution of materials by traditional heating methods and ensure processing quality.
5. Other applications
Metal welding (such as tool and steel pipe welding), semiconductor single crystal growth, plastic molding, etc.
Environmental protection field: meet low-carbon requirements, low pollution, and replace traditional high-energy-consuming equipment.
In general, the uses of induction melting furnaces cover industrial scenarios such as metal smelting, heat treatment, and forging. If you have any questions or needs, please feel free to contact us.
